Aquest dilluns s’ha presentat una exposició que posa de relleu les aportacions a la societat de 68 dones de Ponent, Alt Pirineu i Aran nascudes abans de l’any 1940. Hi ha mestres, periodistes, científiques, poetesses, polítiques i pageses i el contingut de la mostra s’ha fet gràcies a les propostes i la informació facilitada per una cinquantena d’entitats de dones, culturals i veïnals així com ens locals. Al Teatre l’Ateneu s’ha fet un acte organitzat per l’Institut Català de la Dona (ICD), on s’ha presentat un llibre sobre el projecte ‘Dones rurals. Dones de Lleida’, i on també hi han assistit algunes de les protagonistes de l’exposició. Està previst traslladar la iniciativa a Girona, comarques centrals i Tarragona i Ebre.

Meritxell Benedí, presidenta de l’ICD, ha explicat que l’exposició i el projecte en si s’ha impulsat per donar “visibilitat a les dones que ens han precedit”, ja que sovint “ens diuen que no hi ha dones referents” i moltes dones se senten orfes de referents. En canvi, segons Benedí, hi ha totes les dones que surten en aquesta exposició, referents al conjunt de les comarques de Ponent i l’Alt Pirineu i Aran. Aquestes dones són referents en els seus “entorns més propers” però no han passat a la “història oficial” perquè qui ha escrit el “relat oficial” és un relat patriarcal, fet per homes i per als homes que “invisibilitzen les dones”.

 

L’alcaldessa de Tàrrega, Alba Pijoan, ha remarcat que és un “plaer i un honor” acollir la presentació del projecte. En aquest sentit, ha destacat que Tàrrega és el municipi de la demarcació que aporta més dones en aquest volum. Són 12 del total de 68. Entre elles hi ha la primera alcaldessa de Catalunya, del Talladell, Dolors Codina, l’any 1924 en ple règim polític del general Primo de Rivera.

 

Una de les dones que surt a l’exposició, Josefina Vidal, ha explicat que se sent molt orgullosa i feliç pel fet que s’hagin recordat d’ella. Vidal ha explicat que des de jove sempre la van moure objectius com el de treballar per lluitar contra les desigualtats socials entre pobres i rics. Així, mentre va estar vivint a Holanda va parlar amb obrers espanyols que se n’hi havien anat a treballar i va fundar el partit socialista i la UGT. Més tard va tornar a Espanya i va continuar militant al partit socialista. Segons Vidal, tot plegat va ser possible perquè tenia un “marit molt comprensiu” que li va donar tota la llibertat per fer el que volgués.

 

A part de Vidal, l’acte de presentació també ha comptat amb la participació de l’activista social i cultural de la Val d’Aran Dolors Beso i de la mestra i escriptora d’Alguaire (Segrià) Teresa Sabaté. Totes tres han mantingut un diàleg on han recordat part de la seva trajectòria i les lluites que van haver de disputar per tirar endavant pel fet de ser dona.
