Vallfogona projectarà el film “El No a l’Ós”, dirigit per dos pallaressos

Es fa amb la voluntat de mostrar el malestar i els problemes quotidians causats per les polítiques de reintroducció de plantígrads.

Diverses entitats i explotacions ramaderes organitzen el passi del documental «El No a
l’ós» dissabte 3 de desembre a les 19h al Local Polivalent de Vallfogona. El film,
dirigit pels pallaresos Pepe Camps i Vanesa Freixa, dona veu a una vintena de testimonis
entre pastors, ramaders, tècnics, antropòlegs i conservacionistes. Es fa amb la voluntat de
mostrar el malestar i els problemes quotidians causats per les polítiques de reintroducció
de plantígrads.

“El No a l’Ós” va estar guardonat amb el premi especial “Mountain Wilderness” del BBVA
Torello Mountain Film Festival 2021, que reconeix el film que millor ressalta la defensa
dels espais naturals.

 

SINOPSIS: L’any 1996 el govern fancés cojuntament amb els governs de Catalunya, Aragó i Navarra decideixen, amb caràcter d’urgència, i per tant sense dur a terme cap procés de participació amb els habitants del Pirineu, reintroduir exemplars d’ós bru a causa de la seva imminent extinció en aquestes terres. Vint anys després els resultat d’aquest procés afloren al territoris afectats. La població d’ossos va augmentar així com la seva presència al Pirineu català i francès. Els atacs passen de ser esporàdics a habituals, transformant la gestió que darrerament s’havia portat a les muntanyes transhumants. Aquests canvis generen conflictes demés o menys virulència causant en alguns territoris el que s’ha anomenat «la guerra de l’ós». L’ós acaba sent la punta de l’iceberg d’una problemàtica molt més profunda que toca de ple a la governança del món rural.

L’activitat neix de la preocupació de ramaders i pagesos per com poden conviure els seus
ramats amb depredadors com l’ós o el llop i quins efectes poden tenir en el desenvolupament de les activitats de la pagesia però també en la vida dels municipis
rurals en general.

 

La projecció comptarà amb la presentació de la directora Vanesa Freixa i anirà acompanyada d’un col·loqui entre els assistents amb aportacions de la biòloga Anna
Planella, que està fent la tesis sobre temes de danys de grans carnívors, de Miquel
Casas, geòleg i membre de l’Associació de Pastors del Ripollès, del ramader Jaume
Casas de Mas Pinós i de la ramadera Raquel Serrat d’Unió de Pagesos.
