Unió de Pagesos celebra que la crema de restes vegetals ja no estigui prohibida per a les explotacions petites

Recorden que l'organització ha treballat des de l'abril per tombar aquesta prohibició, que sempre han considerat que estava "fora de lloc" i que carregava de costos l'activitat agrària.

Unió de Pagesos (UP) celebra que el Congrés de Diputats hagi aprovat deslliurar les explotacions agrícoles, ramaderes i forestals de menys de 50 treballadors o menys de 10 MEUR de facturació de la prohibició generalitzada de cremar restes de poda i vegetals, a través de la Llei de gestió de la Política Agrària Comuna (PAC). Segons el sindicat, això suposa la pràctica derogació d’aquesta prohibició per a la pagesia a partir del 2 de gener. En aquest sentit, recorden que l’organització ha treballat des de l’abril per tombar una prohibició que sempre han considerat que estava “fora de lloc” i que carregava de costos l’activitat agrària perquè obligava a traslladar les restes a centres de tractament o llogar o comprar màquines trituradores.

La darrera aportació sindical va ser el 23 de novembre en les negociacions entre els grups polítics al Senat, perquè el PSOE volia fer marxa enrere en aquesta derogació, però segons UP, el fet d’insistir per part del sindicat, va aconseguir que els grups polítics eximissin la pagesia, ja que la prohibició generalitzada només afectarà mitjanes i grans empreses.

Unió de Pagesos també ha incidit perquè la Llei de gestió de la PAC acabada d’aprovar eximeixi els agricultors i ramaders de tributar a l’Impost sobre la Renda de les Persones Físiques (IRPF) per les subvencions vinculades als ecorègims. Això és que aquestes subvencions de política agrària comunitària no s’integrin a la base imposable d’aquest impost. Els ecorègims de la PAC, que entra en vigor el 2023, són ajuts per a pràctiques voluntàries en favor del clima i el medi ambient que només compensen parcialment l’aportació ambiental efectuada per la pagesia.

Aquest dijous, amb l’aprovació de la Llei de gestió de la PAC, el Congrés també ha convalidat, ja que l’esmena no va ser modificada al Senat, la proposta d’UP per assegurar el dret de la pagesia afectada per la bretxa digital a la transmissió d’informació i comunicació per mitjans no electrònics. Per tant, també a partir del 2 de gener, se superaran les discriminacions i vulneracions de drets que la Generalitat imposa en els tràmits telemàtics a la pagesia.
