“Seguim treballant per fixar el talent jove al medi rural millorant les oportuniats laborals”, ho ha dit la consellera d’Agricultura, Ramaderia, Pesca i Alimentació de la Generalitat de Catalunya, Teresa Jordà, a la inauguració de la 1a jornada Networking Odisseu Segrià 2020 ‘Aposta per tu i per un món més rural’, que s’ha celebrat avui a l’Escola Agrària (EA) d’Alfarràs. A l’acte també hi han participat el director general d’Alimentació, Qualitat i Indústries Agroalimentàries, Carmel Mòdol, així com el director dels Serveis Territorials del Departament a Lleida, Ferran de Noguera, i la directora general de Joventut, Laia Girós.

En el decurs de la seva intervenció, Teresa Jordà ha explicat que en els darrers cinc anys i gràcies a l’ajut a la primera instal·lació de joves agricultors que gestiona el DARP, s’han incorporat 2.102 joves al sector agrari català, una xifra que marca una tendència positiva si es té en compte que en tot el període 2007-2013 les incorporacions van ser 1.600. A més, cal dir també que el Govern català va posar en funcionament el passat mes de maig l’Oficina Jove al portal Ruralcat (El Planter) un espai dedicat exclusivament al jove que es vol incorporar a l’activitat agrària.

A més, a escala territorial, la consellera d’ Agricultura ha destacat que els ajuts Leader a inversions del Programa de Desenvolupament Rural 2014-2020 a la comarca del Segrià han subvencionat 27 projectes.

En aquest sentit, Teresa Jordà ha posat en relleu el compromís i la forta responsabilitat que té el Departament envers el territori, recordant un dels projectes transformadors que es va presentar fa pocs mesos dins del Pla de reactivació i transformació del sector agroalimentari, forestal i marítim, i és precisament el de la Cohesió Territorial.

D’altra banda, la titular d’Agricultura s’ha referit a l’Agenda Rural, una nova eina que serà elaborada de manera conjunta entre govern, entitats i societat per garantir que les zones rurals catalanes se situïn a la primera línia de la presa de decisions nacional i que, segons ha dit, “estarà llesta a principis de l’any que ve”.

Finalment, ha recordat que el Projecte Odisseu per al retorn i la inserció laboral de joves al medi rural, al qual correspon la jornada d’avui, és un projecte coordinat pel Consorci GAL Alt Urgell–Cerdanya, impulsat pel DARP, des de l’any 2012, i per la Direcció General de Joventut, amb la col·laboració d’ARCA, la xarxa catalana de grups Leader, i que té l’objectiu de fomentar el retorn del capital humà format en les universitats a les zones rurals d’origen, mitjançant el contacte i la implicació dels principals agents que coincideixen en la seva transició, universitats, centres de formació, empreses locals, institucions i administracions.
