La Generalitat no construirà allotjaments pels temporers

El Govern no destinarà ajuts per a la construcció o reforma d’allotjaments per a temporers que participen a la campanya de la fruita. Segons ha informat el delegat del Govern a Lleida, Ramon Farré, la Generalitat funciona amb pressupostos prorrogats i aquests no preveuen una partida específica en aquest sentit. Amb tot, ha deixat la porta oberta a la possibilitat que se’n puguin habilitar el 2020 segons la disponibilitat pressupostària i que el grup de treball tècnic que es preveu constituir pròximament determini si existeixen necessitats al territori pel que fa a allotjament. Aquest grup de treball s’encarregarà de fer un seguiment de forma continuada de les campanyes agràries a Ponent.

El president d’Asaja-Lleida, Pere Roqué, ha lamentat la manca enguany d’ajuts per a allotjaments. “El que haurem de fer és buscar de manera privada de quina manera podem garantir un allotjament digne a aquella persona que tenim a treballar que vingui de més de 75 quilòmetres”, ha dit Roqué. Mentre el sector no compti amb finançament públic, des d’Asaja-Lleida han tornat a posar damunt la taula la proposta de llogar cases o mòduls prefabricats perquè s’hi allotgin els temporers, que poden suposar un cost d’entre 500 i 600 euros mensuals.

Malgrat que no s’habilitaran ajuts per a allotjaments, el delegat del Govern a Lleida ha explicat que hi hauran recursos públics per aquesta campanya agrària. Així, ha exposat la voluntat de la Diputació de Lleida de destinar uns 140.000 euros per a la constitució d’aquest grup de treball tècnic. També ha dit que el SOC està estudiant destinar ajuts per a la contractació a través de plans d’ocupació de mà d’obra per a la campanya i ha recordat els recursos que també hi destinen els consells comarcals.

Finalment, Farré ha reiterat que els empresaris agraris “fan bé les coses” i compleixen el conveni del camp, de la mateixa manera que passa a les centrals fructícoles i magatzems. “No hem detectat cap situació de frau exceptuant algun cas molt concret”, ha dit. El president d’Asaja-Lleida també ha defensat l’actuació dels empresaris del sector i ha remarcat que són mínimes les irregularitats detectades per la Inspecció de Treball.
