ÒC Brigada Internacional ha publicat 18 cançons per a promocionar l’occità entre els joves

Repartiran gratuïtament 1.000 exemplars entre estudiants de secundària de la Val d'Aran i les Calandretas per tal que el jovent tingui accés directe al llibre-disc.

L’únic treball discogràfic en occità publicat a Catalunya aquest 2022 serà el nou llibre-disc ‘Guida de viatge pel cançonièr occitan’ (Sota la Palmera 2022), engegat pel col·lectiu ÒC Brigada Internacional. L’obra surt oficialment aquest divendres i ofereix un recull de 18 cançons de la ‘Nòva Cançon’ occitana, revisitades en clau moderna per artistes de banda i banda dels Pirineus com Carles Belda, Joan Garriga, Alidé Sans o Rodín. Barnasants i l’associació tolosenca Convergéncia Occitana repartiran gratuïtament 1.000 exemplars entre estudiants de secundària de la Val d’Aran i les Calandretas – escoles immersives en occità a França – per tal que el jovent tingui accés directe al llibre-disc.

Deu anys després que els músics Carles Belda i Marc Serrats (Xerramequ) unissin la primera brigada internacional musical occitanocatalana al Barnasants, aquest 2022 hi tornen amb una nova proposta de llibre-disc i espectacle que pretén acostar l’emblemàtica cançó d’autor occitana –dels anys 70 fins a començament de segle XXI – al jovent dels dos costats dels Pirineus. Ho fan de nou per iniciativa de Barnasants i, també de Convergència Occitana. Hi ha participats artistes com Alidé Sans, Tatou (Massilia Sound System), Rodín (Lo còr de la Plana), Gigi de Nissa, Arnaud Cance, Stefano Degioanni, Tesa, Milèna Pastorèlli, o el mateix Joan Garriga, entre d’altres. Així, les grans cançons de Claudi Martí, Rosina de Pèira, Maria Roanet, Mans de Breish, Joan Pau Verdier, Jacmelina i Lucia Mas, són replantejades per cantants actuals des de diverses estètiques.

Avui dia, cançons que són veritables himnes per a una generació d’occitans, com ‘De cap tà l’immortèla de Nadau’ o ‘Perqué m’an pas dit’ d’en Claudi Martí, corren risc de desaparèixer si no s’és capaç de fer-les de nou atractives per al jovent. L’objectiu principal del projecte és que les noves generacions de jovent occità – començant pel de l’Aran – i català coneguin aquestes cançons i les puguin heretar de manera atractiva per a ells.

De fet, per fer-ne una presentació en societat, dimecres 21 de desembre, una representació de la Brigada Internacional serà a l’Institut de Vielha per repartir a tots els estudiants i professors un exemplar d’aquest llibre-disc. A més, s’oferirà en directe un tast d’algunes cançons i els alumnes podran demanar als artistes tot allò que vulguin.
