Massificació de parcs eòlics: Projecten dos nous parcs eòlics marins al golf de Roses

Ferrovial i Capital Energy Offshore projecten dos nous parcs eòlics marins al golf de Roses. Les companyies han presentat en les darreres setmanes els seus projectes al Ministeri per la Transició Ecològica, que està pendent d’aprovar el Pla d’Ordenació de l’Espai Marítim (POEM) que ha de regular aquestes instal·lacions. El de Capital Energy rep el nom de ‘L’Empordà’ i preveu 34 molins amb una potència total de 510 MW. El projecte, que es va presentar a mitjans d’octubre, es troba tot just a la fase de consultes prèvies. L’altre, promogut per Ferrovial, s’anomena ‘Creus’ i també contempla la instal·lació de 34 molins amb 510 MW de potència total.

Aquest projecte es va presentar al Ministeri fa pocs dies, a finals de novembre, i es troba a la fase d’inici. Amb aquests, ja són sis els parcs eòlics marins projectats en aquesta zona.

El que té la tramitació més avançada és el Parc Tramuntana, que preveu la instal·lació de 35 aerogeneradors amb 500 MW de potència a uns 24 km de la badia de Roses. Els promotors, BlueFloat Energy i SENER, han obert també la porta de fer una prova pilot prèvia amb només tres aerogeneradors i 50 MW d’energia.

Els altres tres parcs projectats es troben tot just en la fase de consultes prèvies. Una filial d’Iberdrola hi projecta l’anomenat parc Gavina també amb 500 MW de potència i l’enginyeria basca Saitec en preveu un tercer, amb només cinc aerogeneradors i una potència de 50 MW.

El molins, batejats amb el nom Medfloat Pilot Parc, se situarien a uns 15 quilòmetres del Cap de Creus i produirien l’energia equivalent al consum anual de 50.000 llars. Es tractaria d’un projecte pilot amb una tecnologia desenvolupada per la mateixa companyia (SATH) i de la qual ja se n’està fent una altra prova al port de Bilbao.

Una societat del grup Cobra, Instal·lacions i Serveis Moscardo III, projecta un altre parc eòlic marí a les comarques gironines. Es tracta de ‘Catwind’ i seria el més gran dels que s’han plantejat fins ara amb una potència de 1.200 MW. El projecte va entrar a Ministeri per a la Transició Ecològica a mitjans de juny.

El Ministeri per a la Transició Ecològica està pendent d’aprovar el POEM, l’esborrany del qual només contempla el Cap de Creus com a únic punt de Catalunya on es pot implantar aquest tipus d’instal·lacions d’eòlica marina.
