L’aposta pel turisme de proximitat dispara els rescats que han fet els Bombers en el que va d’estiu a Catalunya

L’aposta pel turisme de proximitat ha disparat els rescats que han fet els Bombers a Catalunya, des del juny. I és que en els darrers dos mesos i mig, el cos ha fet 522 serveis, que suposen un 23% més en relació al mateix període de l’any passat. Aquest increment ha fet que l’acumulat de l’any sigui superior al 2019, tot i que durant el confinament es va registrar un descens notable. El sergent del Grup de Recolzament d’Actuacions Especials (GRAE) dels Bombers, Alfons Esterlich, vincula l’augment de serveis a la decisió de moltes famílies de passar les vacances a Catalunya. Esterlich adverteix que encara hi ha un nombre important de persones que van mal equipades a muntanya, on es produeixen la majoria de rescats.

El cop provocat per la pandèmia ha fet modificar les vacances de molts catalans, que han acabat apostant pel turisme de proximitat. Això ha incrementat l’afluència de visitants en zones de muntanya i, de retruc, els rescats durant els darrers dos mesos i mig. En aquest temps, a Catalunya els Bombers han fet 522 serveis (156 al juny, 208 al juliol i 158 els primers quinze dies d’agost). Un increment del 23% respecte al mateix període de l’any passat i que també ha fet capgirar una tendència a la baixa provocada pel confinament durant els mesos d’abril i maig.

El sergent del GRAE, Alfons Esterlich, destaca l’increment que hi ha hagut especialment en rius i gorgues d’arreu de Catalunya. Els motius dels accidents estan relacionats, habitualment, amb relliscades en roques o en imprudències, com no calcular la profunditat. En aquests espais s’ha passat de 21 actuacions l’any passat a 55 aquest 2020.

La muntanya i els camins de ronda també són llocs habituals on han d’actuar els GRAE. Esterlich explica que encara ara es troben amb persones que no van prou ben equipades, en zones complicades. “Els camins de ronda poden ser planers o poden tenir molta roca i desnivell. No es pot anar amb unes xancletes”, remarca.

En concret, a la muntanya, el nombre de serveis que han de fer els Bombers s’ha incrementat respecte l’any passat, tot i la caiguda dràstica que hi va haver durant el confinament. El problema, però, és que l’augment de gent que hi ha anat aquest estiu, ha fet créixer prop d’un 20% els darrers mesos els rescats.

Fer ús del mòbil

 

El sergent, però, reconeix que una altra sortida habitual per a ells és la de la recerca de persones que s’han desorientat. En aquest sentit, Esterlich recorda la importància del telèfon mòbil per poder “guanyar temps”. “Tothom hauria de saber enviar una ubicació i ens facilitaria molt les coses”.

 

A més, el sergent posa en valor tenir aplicacions per saber la meteorologia especialment a muntanya, que és molt canviant. “Cal preparar-se bé les rutes i tenir recursos si tenim problemes”, assenyala.

 

Una quarta part a comarques gironines

 

Una dada destacada és que gairebé una quarta part dels rescats que s’han fet des de principis d’any a Catalunya -223 de 898- s’han produït a les set comarques de Girona. En aquest sentit, el Baix Empordà ha estat la zona on més han hagut d’actuar els Bombers. En total s’hi han fet 51 serveis, la majoria en poblacions costaneres com Palamós o Begur que compten amb molts camins de ronda.

 

Per altra banda, a la demarcació també destaca el nombre de rescats al Ripollès, on se n’han fet 49. La majoria localitzats en zones molt freqüentades per amants de la muntanya com Queralbs, on n’hi ha hagut deu o els dotze registrats a Setcases.

 

A la Selva els Bombers s’hi ha actuat en 38 ocasions, mentre que a l’Alt Empordà ho han fet en 36 vegades. Per la seva banda, la Garrotxa ha registrat 31 rescats. A més, també cal sumar els set del Gironès, cinc al pla de l’Estany i els sis de les localitats gironines de la Cerdanya.

 

Naut d’Aran, la localitat amb més serveis

 

Com sol ser habitual, Naut d’Aran ha estat la localitat que fins a dia d’avui ha registrat més rescats, 31. També destaca Matadapera on se n’han fet 21 i que contribueix a fer del Vallès Occidental la comarca amb més serveis per part dels Bombers (70).

 

Per la seva banda, al Baix Llobregat n’hi ha hagut 53, a Osona 49 i al Pallars Sobirà 47 – la majoria a la Vall de Boí –. El Berguedà també ha vist créixer els rescats respecte l’any passat. En concret se n’han fet 41, gairebé la meitat dels quals a la zona del Pedraforca, a les poblacions de Saldes i Gósol.
