La CUP recolza les mobilitzacions d’Oliana organitzades per la família de la Maria de Peramola

La Maria Orrit i Mas és alt urgellenca, té 9 anys, un 85% de discapacitat i no rep l’assistència pública que requereix la seva malaltia, d’origen genètic i minoritària (Síndrome 9P), i que fa que no es pugui valdre per si sola.

Tot i que la família de la Maria ha fet i està disposada a fer tot el que té a  l’abast per oferir-li una vida digna, a dia d’avui l’escola pública no garanteix als alumnes amb necessitats especials els recursos suficients per atendre’ls amb les condicions dignes que necessiten, tot i el que estableix el Decret 150/2017, de 17 d’octubre, de l’atenció educativa a l’alumnat en el marc d’un sistema educatiu inclusiu, segons el qual estableix que poden ser escolaritzats els alumnes amb necessitats educatives especials associades a discapacitats físiques, intel·lectuals o sensorials, trastorns de l’espectre autista, trastorns greus de conducta, trastorns mentals, i malalties degeneratives greus i minoritàries.

 

Per altra banda, l’evolució de la malaltia de la Maria ha arribat al punt que requereix d’un centre d’educació especial, però justament ni a l’Alt Urgell ni a la resta del Pirineu no n’hi ha cap. Els centres més propers es troben a Andorra, Manresa i Lleida, implicant fer entre 4 i 5 hores de cotxe per anar i tornar o obligant a la família a traslladar el seu domicili. Per això la família demana que la Maria es pugui quedar interna en algun d’aquests tres centres, tanmateix el Departament de Drets Socials ho rebutja al·legant que això només seria possible quan la nena arribés als 18 anys o en cas que el pare i la mare renunciéssin a la tutela de la nena per fer-se’n càrrec la Direcció General d’Atenció a la Infància i l’Adolescència.

 

Els anticapitalistes es sumen a la denúncia de la família d’aquesta greu situació, que diuen, és donada per la manca d’inversions necessàries en serveis a les comarques del Pirineu, fet que comporta una greu pèrdua de drets per les pirinenques i uns greuges que la població d’altres llocs no pateix en el seu dia a dia.

 

Per això es solidaritzen i s’han sumat a la mobilització que va ser anunciada per la família: un tall a la C-14 el 8 de desembre a les 16h, a la presa d’Oliana.
