Europa atorgarà 1.120 milions d’euros a Espanya per garantir la sostenibilitat del sector pesquer

la Comissió Europea hagi donat el vistiplau al programa destinat a l'Estat per implementar la Política Pesquera Comuna (CFP, per les seves sigles en anglès).

Espanya rebrà 1.120 milions d’euros del Fons Europeu Marítim de Pesca i Aqüicultura fins al 2027, després que aquest dimarts la Comissió Europea hagi donat el vistiplau al programa destinat a l’Estat per implementar la Política Pesquera Comuna (CFP, per les seves sigles en anglès). Segons ha detallat l’executiu europeu, tres quartes parts dels recursos aniran destinats a garantir la sostenibilitat del sector i a iniciatives per donar-li publicitat. La resta s’invertirà en l’ús dels recursos marins com a font d’ingressos econòmics, en reforçar la governança de les aigües internacionals i en assistència tècnica. També destaca el pressupost destinat exclusivament a les Canàries, que s’incrementarà fins als 58,2 milions d’euros.
