Deu granges porquines catalanes han estat guardonades en la 29a edició dels Premis Porc d’Or, que s’han entregat aquest divendres a la nit a Toledo, a Castella – La Manxa. Catalunya ha tancat el podi de territoris més premiats amb la tercera posició, només superada per Galícia, amb dotze estatuetes, i per l’Aragó, amb onze. En total s’han repartit 48 premis entre 42 explotacions de set Comunitats Autònomes. Dins dels guardons catalans, els premis han anat a parar a vuit explotacions ramaderes de la comarca d’Osona, a la demarcació de Barcelona, al costat d’una de l’Alt Empordà, a la demarcació de Girona, i una del Solsonès, a la de Lleida. Més de 800 professionals del sector han assistit a l’esdeveniment.
La granja Mas Rosell de Santa Maria de Besora (Osona) s’ha endut la plata en la Primera Categoria de Productivitat Numèrica. La Cabana Negra, de Solsona, pertanyent al Grup Gepork, ha estat distingida amb el bronze de la Segona Categoria de Taxa de Parts.
En la Segona Categoria de Longevitat, la Granja Masnou de l’Esquirol (Osona) ha aconseguit l’or, i la Granja La Farigoleta de Calldetenes (Osona) ha estat premiada amb el bronze.
La tercera Categoria de Longevitat ha estat copada per explotacions catalanes. L’or se l’ha endut la Granja Pontós, de Pontós (Alt Empordà), la plata la Granja Castellets, de Taradell (Osona) i el Bronze la Granja Espadaler, de Sant Quirze de Besora (Osona). Les dues últimes pertanyen al grup Pinsos Sant Antoni.
A la Quarta Categoria de Productivitat Numèrica, la granja de Pinsos Grau Sant Martí, de Sant Martí de Centelles (Osona), ha aconseguit el bronze. I en la mateixa categoria de Taxa de Parts la Granja Solallong de Sora (Osona), s’ha endut la plata. Aquesta mateixa granja ha aconseguit també l’or de la Quarta Categoria de Longevitat.
