Els pobles petits de Tarragona: on la crisi del coronavirus es pren amb una altra filosofia

La crisi del coronavirus es pren amb una altra filosofia als pobles més petits de l’interior del Camp de Tarragona. La majoria de la població viu de la pagesia i surten diàriament als camps, si bé dins del poble les famílies es mantenen confinades. Els grups per ‘whatsapp’ els ajuden a estar comunicats. A Senan (Conca de Barberà), amb només cinquanta veïns, sempre s’avisa quan algú es desplaça a comprar a l’Espluga de Francolí per si als demés els ha de menester res. Aquesta harmonia i tranquil·litat s’ha vist alterada per l’arribada de turistes de segones residències. També ho han notat a la Bisbal de Falset (Priorat) i a Querol (Alt Camp).

“Ens sentim una mica sobrepassats de gent que ha vingut a passar el seu confinament aquí, i te’ls trobes pel carrer o caminant pels camins”, declara l’alcaldessa de Senan, Carme Ferrer. L’alcaldessa avisa que el poble té els recursos limitats per abastir més gent. També recorda que a Senan hi predomina població envellida, més vulnerable a un possible contagi. Dels 51 veïns empadronats, la majoria tenen més de 70 anys. També hi viuen tres nens, d’entre els 5 als 11 anys. “Volem tenir els nostres espais de seguretat”, afirma.

Més enllà de l’arribada de veïns desconeguts, la crisi del coronavirus en els entorns rurals es viu sense els nervis i l’angoixa incrustada a les grans ciutats i zones més poblades del territori tarragoní. A Senan ara arrosseguen una avaria en l’abastament d’aigua que els genera molta més preocupació i maldecaps que no pas el confinament. De fet, és un poble tan petit i tants pocs veïns que hi ha certa “flexibilitat”, diu Ferrer, per sortir una estona i estar en contacte amb la natura, però mai sense entrar en contacte amb ningú.

 

A la comarca veïna de l’Alt Camp, al poble Mont-ral, amb 168 habitants, la vida tampoc ha canviat gaire. “Estem acostumats a estar cadascú a casa seva; la gent ho porta molt bé”, constata l’alcalde, Francesc Xavier Pagès. El forn de pa del poble, molt conegut per les seves delicioses magdalenes, segueix funcionant i serveix a domicili. Per contra, han tancat un hotel, restaurants i refugis. És una zona muntanyosa, idònia per a la pràctica de l’escalada. Segons l’alcalde, des de l’estat d’alarma, no s’ha vist cap escalador pel terme.

 

A l’altre extrem de la comarca, a Querol, és on més s’ha donat aquesta vinguda de foranis per passar el confinament, en segones residències. És un municipi força gran en extensió, amb diverses urbanitzacions. “S’han omplert entre 25 i 30 parcel·les a Mas Vermell, Ranxos de Bonany i Can Llenas; majoritàriament són gent de l’àrea metropolitana de Barcelona”, explica l’alcalde Jordi Pijoan. Diu que la població -de 500 empadronats, però només la meitat hi resideix habitualment- respecta escrupolosament el confinament.

 

A la Bisbal de Falset, a l’extrem occidental del Priorat, també els van venir diverses famílies als inicis de la crisi del coronavirus, però finalment només se n’han quedat un parell. “Aquí quasi tots som els pagesos, el 90% de la població ho és, i encara estem habilitats per estar al camp”, exposa l’alcalde del poble, Sergi Masip. Es manté oberta una botiga de queviures que subministra a tot el poble. Per a altres compres cal desplaçar-se a Móra, Falset o Flix. El restaurant, cases de pagès i l’escola i llar d’infants romanen tancades.
