El Montseny ja compta amb un nou mapa de patrimoni cultural

Dins d'aquest mapa, destaca el volum de masies medievals i elements relacionats amb l’explotació agropecuària.

La Diputació de Barcelona ha aprovat el nou mapa de patrimoni cultural del Montseny, on es recullen 234 elements inventariats. Del total d’elements, un 76% són immobles; un 10%, naturals; un 8%, immaterials; un 8%, mobles; i un 1%, documentals. Destaca el volum de masies medievals i elements relacionats amb l’explotació agropecuària. Dins el nucli del Montseny hi ha un dels edificis més notables, l’església parroquial de Sant Julià. Altres elements significatius recollits al nou mapa són la capella de Sant Marçal, els molins de la Llavina, de’n Xifré i de Can Riera Moliner, i la Central Hidroelèctrica de Can Riera Moliner. Pel que fa a barraques i corrals, ressalta la de la Sitja del Llop.

Com a elements arquitectònics, el mapa recull nombroses fonts que indiquen la riquesa hídrica del municipi, com la Font Bona, on neix el riu Tordera, del Pont, de Can Riera Moliner, de Can Nena, que en alguns casos estan associades a un safareig. També s’han inventariat les basses de la Font del Bosc, del molí de la Llavina i del molí d’en Xifré.

 

D’altra banda, s’ha inventariat l’emblemàtica Creu de Matagalls, situada a l’extrem del terme municipal, la de Sant Marçal i la de Picarín. També pel seu valor simbòlic, s’ha inclòs la Taula dels Tres Bisbes, on la tradició situa com a punt de reunió dels bisbes de Barcelona, Vic i Girona.

 

D’elements de patrimoni moble, s’han localitzat un total de vuit elements, dels quals destaca l’estela de la Calma, un monòlit de grans dimensions que té gravades diverses inscripcions en forma de cercles concèntrics i semicercles. Es creu que formava part d’un menhir o una estela vertical, que era una fita territorial amb un simbolisme religiós i astronòmic.

 

El treball s’ha realitzat gràcies a la recerca documental en arxius, biblioteques i serveis oficials on hi ha informació referent al patrimoni cultural. Com a punt de partida s’ha consultat l’Inventari del Patrimoni Arquitectònic de Catalunya (IPA) i l’Inventari del Patrimoni Arqueològic i Paleontològic de Catalunya (CCAA), l’Inventari del Patrimoni Industrial de Catalunya (IPIC), l’Inventari del Patrimoni Etnològic de Catalunya (IPEC), l’Inventari del Patrimoni Immaterial del Montseny, l’Inventari del patrimoni construït del Parc del Montseny, l’Inventari d’Arbres Monumentals de la Generalitat de Catalunya, l’Inventari d’Espais d’Interès Geològic de Catalunya, l’Inventari de Zones Humides de Catalunya i l’Inventari de Camins Ramaders.

 

També s’ha consultat l’Arxiu Comarcal del Vallès Oriental, l’Arxiu de la Corona d’Aragó, l’Arxiu Nacional de Catalunya, l’Arxiu del Centre Excursionista de Catalunya, l’Arxiu Fotogràfic i Documental del Servei del Patrimoni Arquitectònic Local i l’Arxiu Municipal de Montseny.
