El Govern es compromet a complir la sentència de Vacamorta “amb transparència” i crea una nova taula de seguiment

El nou Govern es compromet a complir la sentència que obliga a buidar l’abocador de Vacamorta de Cruïlles (Baix Empordà) “amb transparència, coordinació i comunicació”. A més, la secretària de Medi Ambient de la Generalitat, Anna Bernadas, assenyala que es crearà una nova taula de seguiment que tindrà reunions periòdiques amb els ajuntaments afectats i les entitats contràries, CEPA i PAAC. De fet, el portaveu de la Plataforma Alternativa a l’Abocador de Cruïlles (PAAC), Daniel González, assegura que en la primera reunió els membres del Govern que hi van assistir els van assegurar que també es perseguiria judicialment els antics responsables que no han executat una sentència que és ferma.

“Ens hem emportat una agradable sorpresa”, així de clar s’expressa l’alcalde de Cruïlles, Dani Encinas i el portaveu de la PAAC, Dani González, després de la primera reunió entre el Govern, els ajuntaments afectats per l’abocador de Vacamorta i les entitats ecologistes contràries. Una reunió que es va produir a finals de juliol però que va servir per constatar la “ferma voluntat” del Departament d’Acció Climàtica de donar compliment a la sentència ferma que obliga a buidar l’abocador.

A més, González assenyala que en la reunió el Govern es va comprometre a prendre accions judicials contra les persones responsables de no haver donat compliment a la decisió de l’alt tribunal. “Van reconèixer que les coses s’han fet molt malament, no des d’ara, sinó des de fa molt de temps”, remarca.

 

A la reunió hi van assistir membres del Centre d’Ecologistes i Projectes Alternatius (CEPA), de la PAAC, l’alcalde de Cruïlles, Dani Encinas i el de la Bisbal d’Empordà, Enric Marquès. Per part del Govern, hi van anar la secretària de Medi Ambient, Anna Bernadas, acompanyada del nou director de l’Agència de Residus de Catalunya (ARC), Isaac Peraire, i altres secretaris de departament més. Precisament, el fet que s’hi impliquessin més conselleries va sorprendre l’alcalde de Cruïlles, Dani Encinas. “Veus que hi ha una altra actitud i que tenen ganes de treballar i resoldre el problema”.

 

Aquesta va ser la primera trobada d’una nova taula de seguiment que el Departament d’Acció Climàtica assegura que les trobades seran “periòdiques” amb els diferents actors per posar fil a l’agulla i fer efectiva la sentència.

 

Encinas reconeix que els agradaria saber “qui és el responsable” de que les coses s’hagin fet “tan malament”, però deixa clar que el prioritari és “buidar l’abocador”. “El que volem és que es faci de manera conscient amb el menor impacte pels veïns de la urbanització de Puigventós, de Cruïlles i de la Bisbal”, assenyala.

 

Tant González com Encinas assenyalen que se’ls ha de donar un termini de temps per poder treballar, però celebren que el nou Govern “té clar que s’ha de buidar l’abocador”. “Encara no saben exactament com fer-ho i és lògic perquè es tracta d’un abocador amb més de tres milions de tones”.

 

Una proposta “cínica i escandalosa”

 

Tant la CEPA com la PAAC creuen que la proposta de buidar l’abocador de Vacamorta (Baix Empordà) a unes argileres properes i construint-ne un de nou a Peralada, tal i com va proposar els antics responsables del buidatge és “escandalosa, irresponsable i cínica”.

 

En aquest sentit, el portaveu de la PAAC, Dani González, explica que el nou Govern els dona la raó en això, un fet que els va tranquil·litzar. “Ells saben perfectament que no es pot fer i ens van reconèixer que era una burla”, explica el portaveu de la PAAC.
