El Doctor Music marxa a Montmeló

Punt i final a les especulacions: el Doctor Music Festival es farà a Montmeló. En una roda de premsa celebrada avui, l’organització del festival ha confirmat el canvi d’ubicació com a alternativa als prats d’Escalarre, al Pallars Sobirà. Segons han explicat, els dos informes negatius de l’Agència Catalana de l’Aigua (ACA), que afirmen que hi ha risc d’inundabilitat, els obliguen a traslladar-se, ja que no tenen garantida l’autorització de la Confederació Hidrogràfica de l’Ebre.

Concretament, l’organització del festival ha assenyalar la impossibilitat d’acomplir les exigències de l’ens, les quals ha titllat d'”exagerades i destructives”, sobretot tenint en compte que la Vall d’Àneu mai s’ha inundat a l’estiu. A més a més, el trasllat del Doctor Music suposarà l’anul·lació de la jornada inaugural del dia 11 de juliol i del concert de Chris Robinson Brotherhood. En contrapartida, l’organització ha anunciat que oferirà abonaments més barats i que les persones empadronades al Pallars Sobirà hi podran assistir de franc.

Una pèrdua importantíssima per la comarca

Després de la la reunió celebrada ahir, abans de conèixer la decisió de l’organització, el Consell d’Alcaldes del Pallars Sobirà va anunciar que estudiarà la possibilitat de querellar-se contra l’ACA per danys i perjudicis. Segons Carles Isús, president del Consell Comarcal, la intenció de les batllies de la comarca és emparar-se en la llei per revertir “l’important” greuge econòmic que suposa la pèrdua del festival.
