Coop-era ha donat feina a tres joves en situació vulnerable per recollir olives de 10 ha de l’Alt i Baix Penedès

En aquesta collita s'ha estrenat un remolc amb capacitat per a portar fins a 1.300 kg d'olives per viatge i amb un sistema d'abocatge motoritzat.

Coop-era ha acabat la collita de l’oliva que va començar el passat 17 d’octubre. Tres joves han treballat en aquesta campanya recollint les olives de 10 ha, majoritàriament de finques petites situades a l’Alt i Baix Penedès.

Aquesta campanya ha servit per donar feina a tres joves amb alta vulnerabilitat i, alhora, per oferir serveis agraris a tercers i recuperar finques que estaven en estat d’abandó, ja que, alguns dels camps d’oliveres que s’han collit són propietat de pagesos ja molt grans que no han pogut fer-se càrrec de la finca. En aquests casos, s’han fet podes de recuperació, per aquest motiu, i per la sequera acumulada l’últim any, la producció no ha estat plena.

En total s’han collit 5.000 kg d’olives que ja s’han portat a moldre en un trull de Guardiola de Font-rubí i s’ha obtingut més de 1.000 litres d’oli, el qual s’ha envasat en ampolles de 5, 2, 0,5 i 0,25 litres. Es tracta d’oli novell , fresc i aromàtic amb unes característiques organolèptiques úniques. El color verd i l’aroma i el gust intens són els indicadors principals d’aquest oli aquests dies posteriors a ser premsat sense filtrar. Es considera un producte de temporada perquè amb els mesos anirà evolucionant fins a esdevenir un oli verge extra normal.

Remolc nou

En aquesta collita s’ha estrenat un remolc amb capacitat per a portar fins a 1.300 kg d’olives per viatge i amb un sistema d’abocatge motoritzat cosa que facilita molt la descàrrega al molí. Aquest remolc ha estat donat per la fundació Roviralta.

Relleu, oportunitat i sostenibilitat

El projecte coop-era té per objectiu formar persones amb alta vulnerabilitat (principalment joves) en tasques agràries per tal que puguin inserir-se al món laboral i, alhora, pretén donar resposta a la manca de relleu generacional que viu la pagesia. Això ho aconsegueix oferint serveis agraris a pagesos i gestionant finques en règim de parceria i tot plegat, promovent l’agroecologia i l’economia social i solidària.

Coop-era l’impulsa la cooperativa d’iniciativa social Actua i compta amb el suport del departament d’Empresa i Treball de la Generalitat a través d’un Projecte Singular atorgat pel Programa d’Economia Social.
