La Setmana Sense Soroll que se celebra entre el 22 i el 28 d'abril | Departament de Territori i Sostenibilitat

El Departament de Territori i Sostenibilitat dissenya un projecte de ciència ciutadana per generar un inventari de les zones i els itineraris urbans més tranquils de les ciutats i pobles de Catalunya. La prova pilot s’engegarà a Barcelona, Tarragona, Lleida, Girona, Terrassa i Tortosa durant la Setmana Sense Soroll, que se celebra entre el 22 i el 28 d’abril. Durant aquests dies es convidarà a la ciutadania a fer servir una app ja existent que genera mesures i les georeferencia, publicant-les posteriorment en un visor. La intenció del Departament és presentar oficialment la iniciativa la primavera vinent.

El soroll es considera un tipus de contaminació que perjudica la salut de les persones i deteriora la qualitat ambiental del territori. Per posar en valor les actuacions i accions que permeten millorar la qualitat acústica de l’entorn, la Generalitat ha impulsat la Setmana Sense Soroll amb el lema Silenciem el soroll. Durant aquesta setmana es promouen iniciatives per prevenir la contaminació acústica donant visibilitat a les eines de gestió i control, a més d’impulsar la col·laboració entre administracions amb diferents responsabilitats o competències en la matèria.
