Quatre detinguts a Bell-lloc per tràfic de silurs

Com a mínim quatre persones han estat detingudes a Bell-lloc d’Urgell en el marc d’una operació internacional contra el tràfic de silurs morts per al consum humà. Segons ha pogut saber l’ACN, l’operatiu està coordinat per l’agència europea Eurojust i té vincles a Romania, Itàlia i també França. Tot i que el cas es troba ara mateix sota secret de sumari, fonts judicials han explicat que als detinguts se’ls acusa d’un delicte de pesca il·legal amb mètodes prohibits i d’un altre contra la salut pública, ja que transportaven els silurs, en males condicions d’higiene i salubritat, cap al nord d’Europa, a països on se’n consumeix la seva carn.

El dispositiu, que ha anat a càrrec d’agents de la policia espanyola, ha començat a les cinc de la matinada en un magatzem del carrer Joan Maragall d’aquest municipi del Pla d’Urgell. Concretament, s’hi han desplaçat dues furgonetes i diversos vehicles amb agents de paisà. A l’operatiu també hi han estat presents agents del cos d’Agents Rurals.
