Alguna cosa feu malament Govern: Els mercats de productes de proximitat marginats

El matí de dimecres és, habitualment, és dia d’activitat al mercat no sedentari de Canet de Mar. Avui, només parades de fruites i verdures, han pogut posar les seves parades al carrer i mostraven una molt baixa afluència de clients. Tot i que la majoria dels pagesos que normalment posen la seva parada, alguns no han vingut o per decisió pròpia o per les baixa afluència de clients a causa del confinament.

Els pagesos han comentat al diari Món Rural que avui ha estat un dia molt fluix amb pèrdues del 70% respecte un dia normal. Els pagesos consideren que és una contradicció que les grans superfícies es mantinguin obertes i que els ajuntaments tanquin els mercats paradistes i no se’ls permeti la venda de producte fresc i de proximitat que són de primera necessitat. Amb gran impotència no veuen sortida a la situació actual que s’enfronten. Les parades s’han situat més separades i els pagesos, amb mascaretes han vetllant, en tot moment, perquè les mesures de seguretat i distanciament social es complissin.

A l’altra banda, els compradors agraïen que no hi hagués les aglomeracions i cues que hi ha a les grans zones comercials. “Per una banda, ens recomanen que evitem les aglomeracions i, a més, donem suport al comerç de proximitat” explicava una clienta.

Els ajuntaments, davant la crescuda del brot de coronavirus, estan decretant la suspensió dels mercats no sedentari de la major part del territori, malgrat les indicacions del departament d’agricultura. Tenim l’exemple d’avui de l’Ajuntament de Pineda de Mar que través de les xarxes publica: “que ha valorat que, no havent-hi problemes d’abastament d’aliments en els comerços del poble, i tot i que estaven previstes totes les mesures de seguretat fixades per les autoritats sanitàries, s’anul·len els mercats d’alimentació ambulant fins a nou avís”.

Vilafranca suprimeix el mercat de fruita i verdura de dissabtes

L’Ajuntament de Vilafranca del Penedès ha decidit finalment no celebrar dissabte el mercat de fruita i verdura a la rambla de Sant Francesc, tot i que aquest dimarts va dir que sí que es faria. L’alcalde, Pere Regull, diu que “rectificar és de savis” i explica que malgrat s’havia preparat perquè complís totes les mesures de seguretat, la possible afluència de molta gent podria entrar en “contradicció” amb les crides al confinament. L’anunci no ha agradat a Unió de Pagesos, que demana al consistori que permeti el mercat garantint que es donin els requisits de distància de seguretat entre persones i aforament: “La normativa diu que cal garantir l’abastiment de productes frescos a l’aire lliure”.
“El mercat és tradicionalment un lloc de trobada i passeig i volem evitar confusions i que surti gent al carrer que no vagi estrictament a comprar”, es justifica l’alcalde. Regull afirma que “si una mesura produeix neguit i incertesa entre la població, la nostra responsabilitat és aturar-la. Hem de minimitzar les conductes que poden suposar perill per a la salut”.
