Acció Climàtica dobla la inversió en la convocatòria per al desenvolupament del sector pesquer

Les candidatures s'han de presentar abans del 13 de febrer del 2023 i les seleccionades hauran de presentar una Estratègia de desenvolupament abans del 31 de juliol de 2023.

Un dels projectes de desenvolupament local participatiu de les comunitats pesqueres seleccionat l'any passat.

El Departament d’Acció Climàtica, Alimentació i Agenda Rural convoca 15,6 milions d’euros al desenvolupament local participatiu de les comunitats pesqueres, dut a terme mitjançant activitats de cooperació promogudes pels Grups d’Acció Local Pesquers (GALP) en el marc del Fons Europeu Marítim i de la Pesca i l’Aqüicultura (FEMPA).

Els Grups d’Acció Local Pesquers (GALP) són entitats sorgides per dissenyar i desenvolupar en el territori, de baix a dalt, estratègies per a la gestió dels ajuts europeus, tot permetent centrar les actuacions i els recursos en les prioritats definides pel territori mateix.

Amb aquesta convocatòria, s’ha doblat el pressupost actual per al Desenvolupament Local Participatiu amb l’objectiu d’implementar les propostes dels grups a la totalitat del litoral pesquer català, per a la qual cosa s’ha reservat el 21% del FEMPA per a aquesta línia d’ajuts.

El termini de presentació de candidatures finalitza el 13 de febrer de 2023. Les candidatures seleccionades hauran de presentar una Estratègia de desenvolupament abans del 31 de juliol de 2023. Les candidatures es podran acollir a un ajut preparatori per a la dinamització del procés participatiu i la redacció dels projectes, que estarà dotat de 50.000 euros.

Per a la selecció de les candidatures i l’aprovació de les estratègies, es tindrà en compte la zona d’aplicació de les activitats i també altres criteris territorials (municipis, superfície d’aplicació de la proposta), sectorials (activitat pesquera, aqüícola, Economia Blava), socials (densitat de població, atur i renda familiar) i ambientals (superfície de zones PEIN al territori), i es prioritzarà la presència de dones de la mar en el territori dels projectes proposats.

També es valorarà si les activitats presentades contribueixen als objectius estratègics del Fons Europeu Marítim i de la Pesca i l’Aqüicultura i a implementar l’estratègia De la granja a taula, a desenvolupar l’Economia Blava, a mitigar el canvi climàtic i a fomentar el patrimoni cultural, social i ambiental, i si preveuen actuacions de cooperació.

Es valorarà així mateix la capacitat dels Grups d’Acció Local Pesquers candidats i la implicació dels actors locals. Amb l’objectiu de garantir l’impacte sobre les comunitats pesqueres, aquests grups hauran de ser liderats pel sector pesquer.
