La Terra Alta diversifica les empreses agràries amb sis plans d’acció per a productors i ramaders

El Consell Comarcal de la Terra Alta vol consolidar i diversificar les empreses agràries i agroalimentàries de la comarca i ha elaborat sis plans d’acció per a productors i ramaders. La setmana vinent es presentaran a l’Escola Agrària de Gandesa les oportunitats que han sorgit del programa d’assessorament a sis productors durant aquest any. Es tracta de promoure la producció i venda directa de binomis com una finca d’ametllers amb gallines ponedores, la cirera i els seus elaborats, productes silvestres com bolets i pinyons o l’aprofitament forestal amb l’estella i els pèl·lets. Les propostes busquen “segments de mercat no coberts”, la rendibilitat de les finques i la innovació.

Per al programa d’assessorament, a través de Terra Alta Més, es van rebre catorze sol·licituds i es van escollir els sis projectes “més madurs, innovadors, diversos i amb possibilitat de replicar-se”. El primer dels projectes és la combinació del cultiu d’ametllers i la producció d’ous. Les gallines ponedores viuen en una finca d’ametllers on “es beneficien recíprocament” i milloren “l’eficiència i la gestió de l’explotació”.

 

La segona proposta és la producció i comercialització de cabres en una finca regenerativa, combinant bosc, cultius arboris i herbacis amb la pastura, per millora la qualitat i fertilitat del sòl i la viabilitat de l’explotació ramadera.

 

El tercer dels projectes és una explotació de cirera amb productes diversificats com licors i activitats agroturístiques juntament amb la venda directa dels productes. També s’ha treballat el cultiu de bolets combinat amb pins pinyoners, “una alternativa real i rendible” a curt termini i sense grans inversions o l’aprofitament de la biomassa forestal com a combustible. I finalment, la producció simultània de mel i cereal per produir hidromel i malta de cervesa, “una possibilitat d’èxit”.
