Aquesta setmana ha començat el judici de l’extresorer de la confraria de Sant Pere de la Ràpita

L’Audiència de Tarragona jutja des d’aquest dimarts l’extresorer de la confraria de pescadors de Sant Pere de la Ràpita, acusat d’un delicte de malversació de cabals públics per, presumptament, haver-se embutxacat 13.200 euros de l’entitat. La fiscalia li demana tres anys de presó, mentre que l’acusació particular que representa l’entitat en sol·licita quatre anys i tres mesos. La defensa en reclama l’absolució, ja que sosté que els diners que va treure del banc van ser per pagar material per la confraria i que ho feia seguint ordres de l’expresident. L’estratègia de la defensa passa per demostrar que l’ens tenia un descontrol econòmic. De fet, l’antic president i l’administrativa han reconegut pagaments en negre a treballadors.

En la primera sessió del judici, que se celebra amb jurat popular, les parts han exposat els seus punts de vista sobre els fets. Per la fiscalia, l’acusat va fer 59 extraccions en metàl·lic des d’un caixer automàtic del compte corrent que la confraria tenia al BBVA, entre el 31 de març i el 23 de juny del 2017. Segons el ministeri fiscal, aquests diners no van servir per pagar a proveïdors de l’entitat, sinó que “es van quedar en poder de l’acusat, que en va obtenir un benefici personal”. L’acusació particular ha concretat dotze d’aquestes extraccions es van fer en caps de setmana o festius, quan la confraria i les empreses estaven tancades.

L’advocat de l’acusat, David Rocamora, ha afirmat que “la confraria pagava en negre a tot quisqui”. El lletrat ha apuntat que hi havia un descontrol econòmic a l’entitat i que molts pagaments es feien sense factura. Aquest dimarts han declarat com a testimonis l’expresident de la confraria i l’administrativa. Tots dos han reconegut que des de l’entitat pagaven “gratificacions” a alguns treballadors. En concret, al mateix president, al tresorer i fins i tot a alguns empleats que s’encarregaven de fer reparacions de manteniment a les cases de pescadors que l’ens té en alguns punts del delta de l’Ebre.

 

Tot i això, han parlat de quantitats diferents. Així, l’administrativa ha dit que l’antic president i el tresorer rebien 200 euros mensuals que “no sortien a les nòmines”. En canvi, l’exdirigent ha indicat que ell s’enduia 100 euros cada mes, que el tresorer en rebia 60 i que els encarregats de manteniment en podien arribar a cobrar fins a 200. Alhora, també cobrava un extra si feia reunions fora del municipi. “50 euros per gasolina per anar a Amposta”, ha dit. Entre les dues poblacions hi ha 12 quilòmetres de distància.

Materials

Una de les altres qüestions que ha centrat la sessió d’aquest dimarts ha estat la relació entre la confraria i les empreses subministradores de materials per fer les reparacions a les casetes de pescadors. Per l’acusació, l’extresorer justificava la retirada de diners als caixers per pagar factures, però segons han afirmat l’administrativa i l’expresident, aquestes factures sempre es pagaven mitjançant transferència bancària, mai en metàl·lic. Un extrem que ha confirmat el propietari d’una d’aquestes empreses, si bé ha manifestat que per quantitats “molt petites” ell no emet factura, si el client no ho demana. Tot i això, en el cas de l’entitat “mai sense factura, sempre amb albarà i cobrant per transferència”.

 

Tot i això, a preguntes de la defensa, l’administrativa ha assenyalat que els albarans “es llançaven” un cop s’havia rebut la factura a final de mes. Paral·lelament, la treballadora també ha reconegut que per dur a terme les reparacions la confraria no demana pressupostos a diferents empreses. Simplement, treballen amb empreses “de confiança” de la zona. Una despesa que oscil·la “entre els 5.000 i els 10.000 euros anuals”, ha assenyalat l’expresident.

 

Amb tot, els denunciants han explicat que van sospitar del tresorer quan van veure que les retirades de diners en metàl·lic no es corresponien amb les factures que tenien. Segons han dit, l’acusat els “donava llargues” quan li demanaven explicacions i que quan li van reclamar els albarans o les factures que teòricament havia pagat en metàl·lic, la resposta va ser un full de llibreta escrit a mà. Un document que s’ha exhibit durant el judici i en el qual només apareixien números inconnexos i sense cap concepte.

 

El judici continuarà aquest dimecres, dijous i el dilluns 24, quan està previst que l’acusat declari, tot i que a priori només respondrà les preguntes del seu advocat.
