Un taller sobre el món de les plantes terrestres que es troben a prats, matollars i zones boscoses, serà l’encarregat d’obrir la programació el proper dissabte 15 d’octubre. La sessió s’iniciarà amb una excursió per l’entorn de Roses, que donarà pas a continuació a una classe teòrica a les instal·lacions de l’Aula Gastronòmica.
Seguiran a aquesta proposta, dos tallers sobre cuina de tardor el 18 i el 24 d’octubre, on els assistents podran aprendre a cuinar calamar farcit amb gambes i porros i arròs mar i muntanya, respectivament. El mes d’octubre finalitzarà amb un taller d’elaboració dels tradicionals panellets.
Per al mes de novembre s’han programat activitats destinades al patrimoni vinícola de Roses i a l’ús de fongs i bolets a la cuina, així com un taller dedicat a la preparació de cabirol, mentre que el mes de desembre es destina a la gastronomia nadalenca, amb un taller de postres i un altre de canapès.
Tots els tallers estaran impartits per cuiners i cuineres de Roses, així com d’altres adherits al segell Gastronomia d’Origen de l’Associació d’Empresaris de Roses Cap de Creus. Les persones interessades a participar poden inscriure’s ja a través de la web de l’Ajuntament, on hi ha tots els tallers i xerrades de l’Aula Gastronòmica.
Paral·lelament a aquestes sessions obertes al públic general, l’aula ha programat també dos tallers per a professionals del món de la restauració durant el mes de novembre: un destinat a tecnificació i i especialització i un altre de motivació en el servei de sala.

Relacionada amb l’activitat de l’Aula Gastronòmica, i concretament amb el cicle sobre preparació d’espècies termòfiles realitzat a l’aula el passat setembre, el proper 21 d’octubre (19 h), la Biblioteca Municipal de Roses acollirà la presentació del receptari “La cuina del mar que arriba: el canvi climàtic al nostre plat”, projecte cofinançat pel Fons Europeu Marítim i de la Pesca (FEMP).
La presentació anirà a càrrec del doctor Josep Lloret Romanach, director de la Càtedra Oceans i Salut Humana i professor de Ciències Ambientals de la Universitat de Girona, i del regidor de Promoció Econòmica Fèlix Llorens. El dia de la presentació, es farà entrega de varis exemplars a la Biblioteca de Roses per tal de que estiguin a disposició de tots els veïns i veïnes del poble.
