Dos escuts funeraris nobiliaris del Monestir de Poblet estaràn exposats a Tortosa fins el 31 d’octubre

Els dos escuts funeraris del conjunt patrimonial del Monestir de Poblet es poden visitar a l'Escola d'Art i la Cultura de Tortosa

La Diputació de Tarragona ha restaurat dos escuts funeraris nobiliaris del conjunt patrimonial del Monestir de Poblet. Les peces, que daten de mitjans del segle XIV, són policromades i estan fetes amb uns materials que indiquen que podrien pertànyer a la corona catalanoaragonesa i al regne de Navarra. A tot Catalunya i les Illes Balears només hi ha tres conjunts de pavesos similars. En la restauració s’ha eliminat intervencions anteriors, s’han desinfectat les fustes i s’han corregit les deformacions, entre altres accions. Fins el 31 d’octubre, els escuts s’exposen a la mostra ‘Temps de colors i emblemes a la Corona d’Aragó’, a la seu de l’Escola per l’Art i la Cultura de Tortosa. Després, es traslladarà al Monestir de Poblet.
