Acció Climàtica atorgarà ajudes als pescadors afectats per la reducció de dies del MAP

La Generalitat de Catalunya convoca els ajuts destinats a la paralització temporal d'activitats pesqueres de les embarcacions de pesca de les modalitats d'encerclament i palangre

El Departament d’Acció Climàtica, Alimentació i Agenda Rural del Govern atorgarà ajudes per valor de 6,3 milions d’euros als pescadors afectats per les aturades de la flota d’encerclament, palangre de superfície i d’arrossegament afectades pel Pla multianual de demersals del Mediterrani (MAP). Segons ha destacat el departament en un comunicat, aquests ajuts ajudaran a pal·liar la reducció d’ingressos de les empreses pesqueres i dels pescadors i pescadores afectats per la reducció de dies del MAP, en el cas d’arrossegament, i per les aturades biològiques de les modalitats d’encerclament i palangre de superfície.

“Per agilitzar el pagament de les ajudes al sector, enguany s’han convocat les ajudes mitjançant tres resolucions. La primera ja es va publicar el mes d’abril i les dues restants s’han obert aquest mes d’agost”, ha apuntat l’Executiu. Aquests ajuts estan cofinançats al 50% pel Fons Europeu Marítim i de la Pesca i pel Ministeri d’Agricultura, Pesca i Alimentació.

 

La primera correspon als ajuts destinats a la paralització temporal d’activitats pesqueres de les embarcacions de les modalitats d’encerclament i palangre de superfície de la flota amb port base a Catalunya realitzada durant el període 2021-2022, i als ajuts per als pescadors dels vaixells afectats per aquesta paralització temporal.

 

Les altres dues convocatòries del mes d’agost estan destinats a la paralització temporal d’activitats pesqueres per a armadors de les embarcacions de pesca de la modalitat d’arrossegament i els ajuts per als armadors autònoms enrolats en les embarcacions de pesca de les modalitats d’encerclament i palangre per un valor de 3,7 MEUR. També hi ha recursos per la paralització temporal d’activitats pesqueres per a pescadors de les embarcacions d’arrossegament (1,6 milions).
