La plataforma ciutadana per a la defensa de l’entorn natural i patrimonial de l’Autòdrom de Terramar lamenta que la Generalitat no hagi inclòs el projecte en la revisió del PDU del litoral català, que frenarà la construcció de 46.800 nous habitatges en un total de 30 municipis. En un comunicat, la plataforma assenyala que tot i que el nombre d’habitatges desclassificats “sembla important”, es queda lluny de les expectatives dels que desitjaven “una autèntica reversió de la pressió urbanística sobre el litoral i forçar un reequilibri territorial llargament demandat”. Aquí, critiquen que un macroprojecte com el de l’Autòdrom no s’hagi revisat i que el pla no presenti cap mesura per protegir un connector natural clau pel territori.
Al comunicat, la plataforma denuncia que renunciant a la revisió del projecte es dona “via lliure” a l’especulació sobre uns terrenys d’alt valor natural protegits durant molts anys. “La Generalitat ha renunciat a posar fre al negoci de sempre, el del totxo, que tant mal ha fet a la natura, al paisatge i, en el fons, al país”, afegeixen.
També veuen “contradictori” que el passat mes de març el Departament d’Acció Climàtica, Alimentació i Agenda Rural qualifiqués de “punt crític” el sector de l’Autòdrom de Terramar per al Pla Territorial Metropolità de Barcelona, i que a la revisió del PDU no s’inclogués cap mesura per protegir l’espai.
