Els cellers de la Ruta del Vi del Penedès recuperen quasi totalment el volum de visitants d’abans de la pandèmia

Els cellers de la Ruta del Vi del Penedès pràcticament han recuperat el volum de visitants que tenien el 2019, abans de l’esclat de la covid. Durant els primers cinc mesos d’aquest 2022, les 73 firmes vinícoles adherides a l’itinerari penedesenc han pràcticament igualat les 120.000 visites del mateix període de fa dos anys, segons les dades recollides pel Consorci Enoturisme Penedès, que celebra aquests registres “malgrat encara no s’ha recuperat el turisme estranger”. Els responsables de l’ens ressalten que la covid ha dut bona part dels cellers a invertir en noves propostes turístiques. Al conjunt del sector hi ha hagut un clar auge de les terrasses tipus ‘wine bar’ i de programacions culturals durant els vespres d’estiu.

Segons les últimes dades oficials, durant tot el 2021 -any marcat encara per restriccions de mobilitat-, la ruta del vi del Penedès va rebre 178.000 visitants. Els cinc primers mesos d’enguany s’ha assolit més del 60% de tot l’any passat.

Però on Enoturisme Penedès posa la mirada és al 2019, com a punt de referència abans de la irrupció de la covid. Aquell any, els cellers de l’Alt Penedès, el Baix Penedès i el Garraf adherits a la ruta vinícola van rebre 370.000 visitants. Aquest 2022, tenint en compte que encara queda per davant tot l’estiu i la verema, el sector dona per fet que a finals d’any s’hauran igualat o fins i tot superat aquells registres. Una recuperació basada en el turista estatal, ja que els visitants estrangers encara no remunten.

 

Així ho ha assegurat el president d’Enoturisme Penedès, Ramon Riera, que ha celebrat que els últims dos anys els cellers “han identificat” les virtuts d’oferir visites i no tant sols dedicar-se a la producció de vins i escumosos. “Hi ha un potencial que, si es posa al servei del turisme, aporta reputació, prestigi i un augment de vendes”, ha afegit Riera durant una trobada amb la premsa aquest dimecres a les caves Oriol Rosell de Castellet i la Gornal.
