Ecologistes en Acció atribueix l’inici de sis incendis produïts entre 2020 i 2021 a Endesa i les seves línies elèctriques

Ecologistes en Acció acusa Endesa de diversos incendis causats per l’electrocució d’aus en les seves línies. L’entitat ha documentat sis casos produïts a Catalunya entre el juliol del 2020 i el setembre del 2021 a Abrera, Sant Pere de Ribes, Calaf, Castelldefels, Torrelavit i Castellbell i el Vilar. En aquests punts, afirmen que els Agents Rurals han identificat que l’inici de l’incendi hauria estat a causa de l’electrocució prèvia d’una au, la qual hauria caigut amb el cos cremant sobre terreny de valor forestal o agrícola. En tots els casos, denuncien que es tractava de línies elèctriques d’alta i mitjana tensió que són propietat d’Endesa.

Per això, Ecologistes insta al jutjat de Vic a investigar si els fets podrien ser constitutius d’un delicte continuat d’incendi. D’altra banda, el coordinador jurídic dels activistes, Josep Hurtado, recorda que el nombre d’incendis podria encara ser “molt més elevat” tenint en compte que aquests només han estat els que han aconseguit documentar.

 

Pel que fa a l’empresa sosté que no li correspon investigar la causa d’aquests incendis i assenyala que són altres procediments els que han d’atribuir o no el focus del foc a l’electrificació d’una au. Així, Endesa afirma que si una instància judicial o administrativa demana fer-ho, trobaran “la seva màxima col·laboració” a l’hora de proporcionar tot allò que els faci falta.

 

De fet, recorda que precisament aquest dimecres passat, va oferir una jornada tècnica de formació als Agents Rurals per mostrar al cos les noves tecnologies i les mesures adoptades per la companyia per mitigar l’electrocució d’ocells. Aquesta es va celebrar a Lleida, on va anunciar que preveu actuar en 1.700 suports de línies elèctriques durant el període 2020-2024.
