Que tenen d’especial els camins de ronda? Que permeten gaudir d’un tipus de senderisme diferent: sense perdre de vista el mar.
Aquest és un dels múltiples atractius turístics que ofereix Roses, posant en valor aquests camins que antigament utilitzaven els torns de guardia que patrullaven per la linea de la costa per vigilar el contraband i el trànsit de les embarcacions. Avui en dia, és la millor manera de practicar turisme actiu -al llarg de 18 km repartits en tres trams- inhalant la més pura essència mediterrànea mentres descobrim les boniques i (algunes) salvatges cales amagades al nord de la Costa Brava, moltes en ple Parc Natural del Cap de Creus.
Amagada en un preciós racó de la Costa Brava -amb una majestuosa badia que aquest any celebra el desé aniversari de la seva integració a l’Associació de les Badies més belles del món, on només n’hi ha una quarantena– Roses és una destinació ideal per als amants del senderisme. Y l’últim més primaveral, abans que pujin les temperatures i vinguin més de gust les capbussades, és un excelent moment per pràcticar un senderisme molt especial: pels camins de ronda.
Aquests son els tres trams que, partint des de Roses, arriben fins a Cadaqués passant pel Parc Natural del Cap de Creus.
- De Roses a l’Almadrava. Un curt itinerari d’uns 4 km que surt des del far de Roses, als peus del Castell de la Trinitat, i et porta a una de les millors zones de platja rosenques: L’Almadrava. El recorregut transcorre per per bellíssims llocs com la platja de Canyelles Petites, l’illot dels Brancs i les puntes d’Omella i Ullastrell.
Cami de Ronda del Far de Roses a l’Almadrava - De l’Almadrava a Cala Montjoi. Un altre itinerari de quasi 4 km que transcorre també per espais naturals de gran bellesa, com la punta Falconera, cala Lledó, el cap trencat, cala Murtra, cap Blanc i cala Rostella. I també per un tram de costa plagat de roques submergides a escasos metres de la superficie anomenades baus; un lloc especialment atractiu per la pràctica de submarinisme. Aquest cami de ronda finalitza a la mitica cala Montjoi, que fins el 2011 va acollir el famós restaurant El Bulli, que Ferran Adrià va portar al cim de la gastronomia mundial. Després d’una profunda remodelació, reobrirà les portes el juny de 2023 reconvertit en museu, El Bulli 1846 (nom que coincideix amb les receptes catalogades que va fer l’equip del restaurant), un dels pilars creatius de la Bulli Foundation i constarà d’una activitat per grups reduïts de tres hores.
Cami de ronda de L’Almadrava a Cala Montjoi - De Cala Montjoi a Cadaqués. Aquesta ruta és la més llarga -uns deu kilometres-, transcorre per la GR92 i constara de dues parts. La primera segueix sent un Cami de Ronda que permet admirar algunes de les més espectaculars i salvatges cales de la Costa Brava, com Calitjàs, Pelosa o Jóncols, fins a l’impressionant cap de Norfeu. Allà la ruta continua per l’interior del Parc Natural del Cap de Creus fins arribar a Cadaqués.
