“Sent la Badia” el festival amb el què gaudir de la badia de Roses

Windsurf, paddle surf, ornito kayak, snorkel científic, sortides a cavall, senderisme pels miradors, una marxa aquàtica… Per terra i per mar, així és com es pot gaudir aquest maig primaveral la badia de Roses, que aquest any celebra el desè aniversari de la seva adhesió a la selecta Associació de les badies més belles del món. Els quatre municipis agermanats en aquesta badia -Castelló d’Empúries/Empuriabrava, Sant Pere Pescador, L’Escala-Empúries i Roses- tornen a unir-se amb la quarta edició del Festival “Sent la Badia”, una cita experiencial amb 8 activitats gratuïtes -dues a cada municipi- vinculades al turisme actiu; en família, parella o amics. Preparats per a sentir la badia de Roses?

Com a atractiu preludi a la temporada estival de les capbussades, la badia de Roses torna a convertir-se en l’escenari ideal per a la pràctica del turisme actiu a la recta final de la primavera. Una badia limitada al nord pel parc natural del Cap de Creus, al sud pel Parc del Montgrí i situat al bell mig del parc natural dels Aiguamolls de l’Empordà; amb més de 45 km de platges, 15 km de cales i 50 km de canals navegables.

 

I la millor manera de gaudir-la i inhalar la seva essència mediterrània més pura és participant en qualsevol de les 8 activitats gratuïtes de la 4a edició del Festival ‘Sent la badia’, projecte en què estan units els quatre municipis que la integren. El programa d’aquesta temporada és el següent:

 

1 – Iniciació al Windsurf (dissabte 7 de maig, Empuriabrava). Durant un parell d’hores (16:00 a 18:00) els participants aprendran a pujar a una taula de surf i lliscar pel mar amb l’impuls del vent sobre la vela acoblada a la taula.

2 – Big sup Challenge (XL) (diumenge 8 de maig, Empuriabrava). Durant dues hores (10:00 a 12:00) es desenvoluparà aquesta activitat amb taules de paddle surf col·lectives amb què es realitzen curses, jocs i acroesport.

3 – Ornitokayak (dissabte 14 de maig, Sant Pere Pescador). Per espai de dues hores (09:30 a 11:30) es podrà gaudir del parc natural dels Aiguamolls de l’Empordà d’una manera diferent: sobre un caiac des d’on observar les aus que s’hi refugien.

4 – Paddle Surf al Fluvià (diumenge 15 de maig, Sant Pere Pescador). Aquest riu empordanès que desemboca a la badia de Roses serà l’escenari on practicar paddle surf durant dues hores (09:00 a 11:00).

 

5 – Snorkel Científic (dissabte 21 de maig, L’Escala/Empúries). La zona aquàtica del parc natural del Montgrí esdevindrà l’excepcional entorn per descobrir de manera didàctica el seu fascinant món submarí. La durada és de 4 hores (10:00 a 14:00).

6 – Sortida a cavall per la badia (diumenge 22 de maig, L’Escala/Empúries). Durant una hora (11:00 a 12:00) els participants en aquesta activitat podran passejar a cavall per part de l’entorn natural de la majestuosa badia de Roses.

7 – Senderisme pels miradors de la badia (dissabte 28 de maig, Roses). Una oportunitat única de recórrer a peu –amb guia– els principals punts de muntanya des dels quals admirar la badia de Roses. La durada serà de 4 hores (09:00 a 13:00).

8 – Marxa aquàtica per la badia (diumenge 29 de maig, Roses). Una altra singular manera de sentir la badia és amb el tacte, caminant per les seves aigües al costat de la riba. Aquesta activitat començarà a les 09:00 h i es recomana portar calçat apte per caminar per l’aigua.

Totes aquestes activitats són gratuites però és obligatori inscriure’s-hi a causa de l’aforament limitat. Per a inscriure’s es pot fer de manera presencial a l’Oficina de Turisme de Roses (Av. de Rhode 77, prop de Ciutadella), o bé trucant al 972 257 331.
