S’obre la primera convòcatoria d’ajuts per crear organitzacions de productors pesquers d’àmbit català

La Direcció General de Polítiques Marítimes i Pesca Sostenible del Departament d’Acció Climàtica, Alimentació i Agenda Rural ha convocat uns ajuts adreçats a compensar les despeses derivades de la creació de l’organització de productors pesquers (OPP) durant els primers 5 anys, amb la qual cosa compleix la normativa europea de suport financer a aquestes organitzacions a fi de fer efectius la seva creació i funcionament.

Es tracta dels primers ajuts d’aquest tipus que es donen a Catalunya. Per a l’anualitat 2022, s’han convocat 60.000 euros, cofinançats un 75% amb el Fons Europeu Marítim i de la Pesca (FEMP) i el 25% restant per la Generalitat de Catalunya.

 

L’objectiu d’aquests ajuts és facilitar que les activitats de producció pesquera i aqüícola, incloses la transformació i comercialització, siguin econòmicament viables i competitives.

Dues noves organitzacions de productors

El sector pesquer català està vertebrat en Confraries de Pescadors i Federacions de Confraries de Pescadors, entitats d’economia social.

 

Les Organitzacions de Productors són elements bàsics de l’Organització Comuna de Mercats que reforcen la posició dels productors en el mercat. La finalitat de les organitzacions de productors és permetre que productors-pescadors cooperin en la gestió dels seus recursos amb coherència econòmica i ecològica.

 

La constitució de noves Organitzacions de Productors, de manera compatible i complementària a les Confraries de Pescadors, permetrà al sector pesquer desenvolupar iniciatives de millora de la comercialització dels productes pesquers i contribuirà a millorar la viabilitat i competitivitat del sector.

 

En aquest moment, hi ha reconegudes dues Organitzacions de Productors de la Pesca d’àmbit català: l’Organització de Productors de Peix Blau de Catalunya, que inclou 14 embarcacions d’encerclament amb una producció mitjana de 5 milions d’euros, i l’Organització de Productors de la Pesca de Palamós amb 24 embarcacions adherides i una producció mitjana de 5,5 milions d’euros.

 

En breu, es preveu la creació de dues noves Organitzacions de Productors: la de Peix Blau Cat Sud-Tarragona i l’Organització de Productors de Mariscs del Delta de l’Ebre (OPP d’Aqüicultura).

 

Aquests ajuts contribueixen a la implementació de l’Agenda marítima de Catalunya en el sentit de reforçar el sector pesquer com un dels puntals de l’Economia Blava del país.

1,1M€ destinats a les despeses de funcionament de les confraries de pescadors i les seves federacions

El Departament d’Acció Climàtica, Alimentació i Agenda Rural ha obert una línia d’ajuts per al suport a les confraries de pescadors a Catalunya i les seves federacions. El Departament destina a aquests ajuts 1,1 milions d’euros.

 

Per facilitar una part important dels tràmits administratius, les confraries poden exercir funcions delegades per l’Administració i actuar com a oficines públiques. Aquests ajuts s’adrecen a compensar les despeses de l’any 2021 de les confraries i les federacions en l’exercici de les funcions desenvolupades com a entitats col·laboradores de l’Administració. Els ajuts es poden sol·licitar des del 22 de març fins al 30 de juny.

 

Les confraries i federacions conformen un element clau de l’economia social i cooperativa i aporten una doble utilitat a la societat. D’una banda, són generadores de riquesa i activitat econòmica, i, de l’altra, ajuden a donar resposta a reptes socials del sector pesquer.

 

Aquests ajuts contribueixen a la implementació de l’Agenda marítima de Catalunya i al reforç del sector pesquer com un dels puntals de l’Economia Blava del país.
